The International Motorcycle Week of Guanajuato is Mexico's largest motorcycle event and one of the five most important in Latin America, with over 100,000 participants riding through the colonial highways of the Bajío for 5 days. Rallies, stunt exhibitions, rock concerts, and the final parade through the historic center of San Miguel de Allende are the highlights.
History
Motorcycle Week was born in the 1990s as an informal gathering on the Celaya-San Miguel highway. Over time it grew into an official event with participation from major motorcycle brands: Harley-Davidson, Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, and BMW. The Bajío is the perfect setting: winding roads through fields and colonial haciendas, mild climate, and towns rich in history.
