Whale Watching Baja operates specialized tours for blue whale and humpback whale sightings using their own vessels and marine biologists. The main season runs February-April off La Paz. Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 people with biologists who record data for the CICESE program. During season, they also operate grey whale tours in the San Ignacio lagoons.
