The Frida Kahlo Museum — popularly known as La Casa Azul — is the birthplace and home where Frida Kahlo lived most of her life in the Coyoacán neighborhood of Mexico City. Inaugurated as a museum in 1958, four years after Frida's death, it preserves intact her paintings, personal belongings, Tehuana dresses, painted corsets, medications, and love letters from Diego Rivera. The garden where both artists walked and Frida's studio with her easel and wheelchair are the most moving spaces. With 900,000 annual visitors, it is the most visited museum in Mexico.

Coyoacán Metro Station (Line 3), 15 minutes on foot. Viveros Metrobús, 12 minutes on foot. Also Uber from downtown (30 minutes). Londres 247, Coyoacán, Mexico City.
