Hotel Matilda is the benchmark for author-designed hotels in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico's most visited city by international tourists. Unlike the colonial hotels in the center, Matilda represents a commitment to contemporary Mexican design: polished concrete and wood architecture, an art collection of over 200 pieces by Mexican artists such as Bosco Sodi and Gabriel Orozco, and Moxi restaurant by chef Enrique Olvera, with Michelin recognition. Its 36 suites are the most photographed in San Miguel.
